Principal

Prof. (Dr.) Jeoju M Issac has taken over as Principal of College of Engineering Munnar on 28/11/2022. He completed his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from M A College of Engineering Kothamangalam in 1988. He took his post-graduation in Mechanical Engineering from the premier institute IIT Madras, also accredited with a Ph.D. Degree from the same institute in the topic “Performance and flow field measurements in different types of diffusers of centrifugal compressors.”

Prof. (Dr.) Jeoju M Issac started his career in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam, as a Lecturer in 1990. In his rich and illustrious career spanning over three decades at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Prof. (Dr.) Jeoju M Issac became a dedicated and passionate professor specialized in Fluid Mechanics-Turbomachines. He retired from service as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam.

He has published 24 research papers and presented at 10 conferences/ seminars. He has guided five Ph.D. scholars, of which four were awarded, and one is under progress.
