Visit by Dr. A M Narsale

Prof (Dr.) A M Narsale, Director, Western Regional Instumentation Centre, (National Facility Centre for UGC, New Delhi), University of Mumbai will be visiting our institution on 6th February 2012. Prof Narsale is former HOD of Physics, University of Mumbai and is an academic board member of Centre for Excellence in basic science (University of Mumbai, Department of Atomic Energy, Consortium.) He shall address the students and faculty members and deliver a lecture on "Instrumentational facility in WRIC for basic Research".

Seminar & Counselling

A lecture on "Empowering the students for a successful professional life" was organized on 22/09/2011 by Dr. K Girish of Mental Health Center Peroorkada, Trivandrum. Dr. Girish is a renowned psychiatrist and student psychologist. Following the seminar, individual counselling sessions where given to the students.

Visit by Mr. Alois N Shayo

Mr. Alois N Shayo, the director of Human Resource & Administration, Dar es salaam, Tanzania along with a team of educational experts visited the faculty members & a core group of students. The main purpose of the visit was to gather data regarding the establishment of Autonomous Professional Institutions.

CUSAT Vice Chancellor visits College of Engineering Munnar

Vice Chancellor Dr. Ramachandran Thekkedeth visited the Campus on 11/08/2011. The overall assessment by Dr. Ramachandran on this institution was,

IEEE Chapter of this institution is hosting the IEEE -Hub 3 congress titled "CYNOSURE - 10" on 9th and 10th October 2010. The Students of College of Engineering bagged several prizes in the CUSAT youth festival Keli-09 with an overall score of 90 points. College of Engineering Munnar bagged the 3rd position among the 24 participants institutions. Mr Sreekanth S of S5EEE became the Kalpratibha and Ms Anjana V of S7 CSE became the Kalathilakam of Keli-09. Apart from these fabulous achievements.
