MoU BETWEEN MITSOM AND CEM

College of Engineering Munnar and Maharashtra Institute of Technology School of Management have signed an MoU on 25th February 2016 for the following goals and objectives in order to initiate the academic collaboration programme:

1. Campus Visit
2. Joint Research and Consultancy
3. Knowledge Transfer (Teaching)
4. Creating awareness about various programmes offered by both the institutes
5. Student Exchange
6. Training for Students and Faculty

By this MoU, students and staff members of both institutions are allowed to visit their campuses in the form of institute visits (one day visit with an orientation tour and faculty session). Both Institutions will work together on joint research and consultancy projects in specific areas of mutual interest. Faculty from both institutions will work together for writing research papers, conducting live research projects, funded research projects by the various funding agencies of university/industry (i.e. University, UGC, AICTE, Pvt. Organizations, Govt. Organizations) and related research activities. Faculty from both the institutions will provide cross institutional guidance to the research student of PGRC as well as other students. Faculty and Students from both the institute will have free access to the library and related infrastructure. Faculty from both the institute will jointly design and conduct the subject specified course work of regular doctoral programme. Faculty from both institute will jointly have training for analytical tools (SPSS SAS) for students.

The agreement was signed by Prof.(Dr).Sayalee Gankar, Director, MAEER’s MIT School of Management and Dr. G.S.Gireesh Kumar, Director, CCEK on behalf of College of Engineering Munnar in the presence of Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan, SWRO, AICTE and Dr. A. Sukeshkumar, Mentor, Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala.
